Swaling near Pew Tor -- controlled burning to clear the ground and encourage new growth. Super Takumar 20mm.

My favorite lens testing subject. This one taken with the K-5 and my new-to-me Takumar 50mm F1.4 (8 element)

Great atmospheric shot. Looks like a nice lens.

Very nice, Dave and Chuck.
Flooding spoiled the dogwalk, but not the photo-taking!

We love our Oregon Coastal Range.

Here is a photo of a cove that is just South of Lincoln City, Oregon. This was my first opportunity to use my newly acquired Takumar F 70~210 mm 1:4~5.6 telephoto lens, and I was not disappointed. As you can see the sharpness of the rock face on the right, the lens delivers excellent performance. My camera is a Pentax K100D Super and I could not be happier with my purchase. I hope you enjoy and thanks very much for looking.

Rgds,

Tonytee

I have been using my new-to-me Auto Revuenon 50/1.4 recently and it's excluded the use of virtually all other manual lenses for the last few weeks, so I decided to take the Takumar 55mm f/1.8 with me yesterday. Taken with the Fujifilm X-M1. The last of these was wide open.

That is so cool. Don't laugh, but as I was scrolling down, I am thinking, why did this guy paint a strawberry opalescent metallic green? St Patrick day thing maybe? Then I scrolled down and saw the rest of the beetle and had a good laugh at myself. Great colors, thanks for posting.

That is funny - brain creating images from the recognizable pattern.. Thanks for comments Eric.

SMC Takumar 20mm f4.5

I thought I was finished buying lenses. I haven't bought one in about 3 years, but nevertheless there's a 20mm on the way. I found surprisingly little online about the lens either in the way of photos taken with it or reviews, but there is a very interesting video shot with it on YouTube.

Beautiful colors. It looks like a bee to me folded over. Surprising coloration for a bee.
