we had a beautifully warm day here in Eastern Canada, ( 29C!) and the sunset was a beautiful Orange, so I took a few shots with my k-x and the 50mm f1.4 super MC Tak

here are the ones I liked

I think in chronological order they were 1, 3 4 and then 2

I almost miss winter! ( almost :P)

When the company went bankrupt in 2005 the factory was sold to the Nanjing Motor Co who literally moved the factory to Nanjing. The remainder was demolished and now, this poor mini's birthplace no longer exists. (The BMW Mini is made in the old Morris works in Cowley, Oxford.)

You're not mistaken at all. I used to use the hood for the 105/2.8 on my 50s, but tried the longer one yesterday and no vignetting at all. It's making me wonder about the relative usefulness/worthlessness of some of my other hoods.

In other news, one of the two big cables that supplies Africa's international bandwidth has been down all week, and promises to be until sometime next, so this is the first time I've even been able to get onto the forum since Sunday, and I still can't see most of the images. Yip. Two cables. One down. (It's a bit more complicated than that, but I won't bore you with the politics).

On the positive side, it's kept me away from the computer for two days, during which time I've planted some vegetables, had a preemptive spring clean, and set up a faux lightbox for product-type shots. I'll post some shots from the latter as soon as my internet connection stops being third world. Insert sulky face here.

Well, I'm hitting the beaches and piers today, because after two weeks of unemployment and getting my ducks in a row on the computer for work-hunting, I need a break.

All m42 Taks in the bag, and the very lonely Tammy, which is a great lens but gets no respect in THIS bag.

It is important to periodically test all safety gear.

Another with the 85. Not the best, but I like the nostalgia:

Shot with the 200 while I was sitting inside the wonderfully air conditioned bar, through a sliding glass door, to the outside patio tables.

I call it, "Time to Get New Glasses":

I'll be without camera until the end of next week boys. I have to turn my Kx back in to my former employer, and will order one on the 15th (payday).

It's gonna be a tough week.

If the K7 body would come down a little, I might go for that.
