Have been meaning to post a few images .... I have been so busy with moving house at the moment ... and busy with work.

I have been lucky enough to shoot a work colleagues new/old guitar ... a 20 year old Ibanez George Benson GB10

Have given it a Sepia effect. I can't find my tripod head (due to it being packed up) .... so am only using a beanbag at the moment

K10D + ST 85/1.9 (shot at f/4 I think) - ISO200

More to come ... this is just a teaser

Super Tak 50/1.4 wide open with a generic hood. Nothing fancy but this lens is great when used with a hood.

Same subject but at f5.6

I can almost never get a usable photo at this location when heading from Yokohama to Tokyo, as I have about five lanes of intervening traffic and it is an over-the-shoulder shot to the right. Basically a point-n-pray situation. Going the opposite direction is much easier, as there is no traffic between me and the ships and I have the chance to fire off several shots in a more natural position to my left. This was a Hail Mary shot to the right, and the one and only shot I got to take.

I was very pleasantly surprised with it myself. Generally if I can get enough of the thing in the frame to straighten it and it isn't too horribly backlit I can get something out of it with post-processing. Most of the time what I get is tilted, cut in half, showing mostly sky, or some combination of those.
