Grand Coulee dam from the viewpoint at the top of the hill on the downstream side. You'll have to stitch shots. TIme it right and you could catch the laser light show on the face of the dam. I think they're still going in September.
Walulla Gap on the Columbia River. There are many vistas along the river that make very nice photos of craggy basalt that has been cut by the river over the millenia.
Stonehenge @ Maryhill in the Columbia River Gorge. You can get a nice shot of Mt. Hood in the background.
Hop across the river to the Oregon side and there are numerous views of the gorge that could be done with a 300. Think Crown Point. Also you could get something of the basalt columns on the Washington side from the Oregon side with a 300.
Nearly anywhere on Hwy 20.
Mt. Rainier from nearly anywhere.
Seattle skyline (or small portions of it anyway)
On a clear day shoot from the observation deck of the Space Needle. No tripods though, you'll need a bean bag. Might get by with a Gorilla pod though. Make sure you have everything tethered, it's a long way down if you drop something.
The Snoqualmie Pass area.
The San Juan Islands. Take the ferry, enjoy the view.
I don't know, what do you like to shoot?
Have a good trip, wave when you go by.
