Thanks, one of the few images I have seen made with that lens. These make it appear to behave like a very wide lens but not particularly fishy.
I agree completely. Both images were cropped for effect, so neither is a good representation of the "fisheye" lens image on might expect. Since I recently acquired the lens I just don't have that many samples as yet. I hope to remedy that soon.

Another with the 17mm f4 Fisheye, this time on the K-5 II. Again, not necessarily representative of fisheye genre, but with an MFD of just under 8" I wanted to try something close up. This yellow wildflower bloom, in reality, is about the size of a half dollar coin.

Just beautiful. You're killing me with these 17mm shots. Looks like I'm gonna be spending the weekend rooting out stuff to sell to get my hands on that lens. Anyone need a spare kidney (heavily used)?

Thank you Dave. Here's another that I took yesterday. Daddy longlegs on a wood step riser.

Super-Takumar 50 1.4 v.2

I travelled to Salt Spring Island this past weekend. Here are a few taken with a recently acquired 50 1.4. This copy is extremely yellowed. I had to cool quite a bit in post-processing. Great for the sunny evening shots though.

Very nice. I especially like the photo of the peppers. Where were the pictures taken?

Salt Spring Island is close to Vancouver Island between Vancouver and Victoria in British Columbia. The peppers were at an open air market in Ganges.

Also taken with Super-Takumar 50 1.4 v.2

Super-Takumar 55mm f1.8

I went for a short walk this evening and took my ST 55mm f1.8 along. I wanted to take some pictures of orchids growing nearby but they were unfortunately past their prime. I did take a few pictures though which are attached as is a photo of a discarded snakeskin I found nearby taken with the preset 50mm f4 macro.
