Very nice shots. What a special lens the preset 50mm f4 Macro-Takumar is!
Thank you Andrew, I agree about the Super Macro Takumar lens - I have no temptation to get anything newer. The loss in contrast in comparison with newer coatings can be made up for in post processing.

Great shots, those bugs were nice to pose for you. How did you manage to get so close and they did not fly away? Were you doing the laundry by the river side?

Thank you for the comment, Pepe.

People say I have an amiable personality and a gentle disposition so perhaps they felt comfortable in close proximity.

It is wet season here and the bugs are all fat and happy and the humidity is very high so possibly from a bugs perspective it is easier to stay put than fly through thick treackly air. The two brown bugs don't appear to have wings. But they didn't crawl very quickly either.

First shot with my freshly de-fungused Super-Multi-Coated 28mm/3.5. I live in an extremely damp climate, and no matter what precautions I take the dreaded fungus sometimes manages to appear. Luckily, the elegantly simple construction of my Takumars makes them a joy to take apart and clean (xposted).

Takumar F 70~210 mm telephoto lens.

Here is a photo of a cove just south of Lincoln City, Oregon. I wanted to see just how sharp this lens is. I was not disappointed. This lens is a real gem and I certainly lucked out by finding it on ebay for a song. The only CA is some magenta on the clouds on a bright, sunny day. It appears to be sharp at all lengths. A very good marriage with the Pentax 100D Super Camera. Please enjoy and thanks for looking.

I had to go to London today for a meeting. Took the SMC-T 35/3.5. I have not used it for a long time.

Got quite a few I liked. Cold morning and the afternoon was sunny, but not hot.

Need to look at them and post interesting ones. Performed OK into the sun , it seems.

SMC Tak 10/2.8, again wide open. It's quite soft if you zoom in but I quite like it.

As some of you know, I use takumars not as photography lenses but timelapse or video glass. I love my takumars. Anyways here is a spot I shot with the awesome 15mm 3.5 S-M-C LOVE THIS LENS!
