Thanks for the info about the ELAC. So if I'm understanding you correctly, you mount the cartridge in a cartridge holder then use the screw on the front of the cartridge holder to set the correct overhang? That sounds like such an elegant solution to the problem of cartridge setup that I'm amazed it isn't more widely used.

The rendering you're getting with the Tak 20 on the K-1 is just sublime. Actually, your photographs with that combination are the only things that have made me wonder if maybe I do want to go full frame after all.

Cool! I am of course cranking (pardon the pun) on the files pretty hard in Rawtherapee, and also exported to Nik CFX for tonal contrast...
