Grevillea ‘Robyn Gordon’. Pentax K10D, Super-Takumar f3.5 135mm Model II. I really must use this lens more often.

Yes it is - I want to return now that Spring is here, to see the changes (if any!)

It looked like a battlefield up at Foggintor yesterday with all the dead sheep revealed now that the snow has melted, so I went a bit war zone for this one with the 20mm. I didn't take any photos of the dead sheep though -- they look a bit too icky at the moment.

That's a very Tolkien-ish sounding place (or maybe Harry Potter-ish). The way you panned this shot gives it a neat 3D look.

It sure does look like a war zone. Thank you for not showing us the dead sheep - a very big thank you!

A few recent grabs of some gorgeous purple iris . You gotta love Springtime! Also gotta love this lens (super multi coated macro tak 50mm/f4). Are there any tak lovers out there who haven't tried out this lens?...Well...what are you waiting for?

It's not very often that a flower shot really grabs me, but that second one is truly beautiful. I can imagine a nod of approval from Georgia O'Keefe if she was still around to see it.

I haven't tried the 50mm macro, but it's on my watch list. I'm waiting for the new Ektachrome to be released (if it ever happens), and my plan is to shoot a test roll and DSLR "scan" it with the 55mm/2.0 on an extension tube. If I like the results then I'll definitely want the 50mm macro, because its flat field would be perfect for the job.

It all depends on whether or not Kodak ever actually gets the new Ektachrome on the market.

It is nice. It was the first built to be a macro lens I ever used.
