More playing with Bokeh and old Super Tak 35mm f2.0 lens.

Notice the radical difference in shutter speeds.
I was intentionally underexposing the wide open shot to reduce lens faults, but I should have brightened the wide open shot a little more in post to match the other pic, oops, but here they are anyway.

Super Tak 35.0 mm f2.0 - 2.8? 1/4000 iso100

Super Tak 35.0 mm f11-16 ? 1/125 iso100[COLOR="Silver"]

X-post from B&W film thread ... SMC 35/2 shot mostly wide open.

Fomapan 200 film home developed in Ilfotec LC 29 for 10.5 minutes. Scanned withan Epson V600 and minor Lr4 tweaks ...

All taken with a Spot F and a SMC Tak 35/2 ... church scenes are at Notre-Dame-la-Grande of city center Poitiers.

Wonderful photos, Jean. Only real B&W film could deliver that look, and the grain structure of that Fomapan looks beautiful.

We have them here as well... make great jungle noises... but I never know weather they are properly Coots or Loons... I seem to hear them called both interchangeably. EDIT: I just looked, and Wiki says the Loon's toes are webbed, and the Coot's are not. Hard to see toes when they are swimming though. After seeing pic's, they are not too similar after all...

Yes, cute pic! The 200mm tak is another great, under-rated lens. Almost all the Tak's really are.

I've been trying to get a shot with multiple things in the selective focal plane, but with the rest of the shot in bokeh bubbles, so it would look like a school of dolphins poking their heads out of the murky waters all at once so to speak... no luck yet. Mother nature isn't cooperating and tends to grow appendages at random lengths. LOL!
