Personally I much prefer it with converging verticals, but I know that others prefer the more "correct" version with the verticals straightened.
For those who don't visit the K10D Club, I'm talking about this shot here with the 17mm fisheye (defished):
I do like the first of that pair especially, where the angle of shooting might be giving a bit more upward bulge to the horizon, right under the church, and where each cross, both on the building and on the gravestones, seems to be pointing at exactly the same spot in the firmament. I like its deeper grays, too.
