Just paid for a 90 dollar Auto-Tak 35mm f2.3. The reason for the super cheap price is because of the rough condition of the barrel and as the seller describes "very light haze" on the outer edge of the rear element. Very excited for this lens, hope it doesn't have any undisclosed issues.

Wow, that's a great price for that lens in any condition. A while ago forum member niceshot posted an excellent video about disassembling and servicing that lens, so it's definitely worth looking up if you plan to fix the "haze".

Aye. It feels like the uncommon Taks are only going up in value so I'm trying to get deals on my most desired ones before they get out of reach. I managed to nab my 8 element 50 1.4 for 100 dollars a few months ago and it included a nice looking silver spotmatic and original caps.

I love crazy bokeh, which is why the Helios was one of the first lenses I bought, so it's no wonder why this lens has been a desire of mine for a long while. I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get it.

Today I acquired a new-to-me mint condition smc Pentax-M 50mm f1.4.This is my first MF K-mount lens and I am still getting used to it but I did manage to get a few acceptable shots with my K10D.

The smooth and the rough.

Reflections in the pool area.

Ah, yes, you are correct. I was thinking Takumar! But it's not. My bad!
I'll leave it here so my friends can enjoy it.

One from a couple of weeks ago that I didn't bother processing at first because I've taken so many pony photos from around this spot over the years. But in the end I decided to keep it after all. With the 20mm.

Love it. The colors and general shape remind me of my niece's Corgi, "Bear".

Great shot! Assuming, that since horses aren’t native to Australia, these are descendants of some English breed?

We have something similar with the Florida Cracker Horse. Descended from Spanish horses and related to the Paso Fino. They can be a pain in the ass to train, but used to be popular as cow ponies.

Of course those ponies you photograph look to be actual ponies, not likely to work cows from one
