I've seen forums for different interests with "like," "agree" "winner" "informative" "appreciate" "wow," "funnny" and some others. Most have gotten rid of anything negative, like "dislike" or "disagree."

We need something other than just "like" on this forum. Those are marvelous.
Thank you, I'm feeling the love

Wouldn't work. If we had a good, better, and best you would have to reward a "best" to avoid insulting the forum member, then we would have long exchanges about the meaning of good, better, and best! :>)
Well.. on fb land (various pentax groups), we use 'Like' 'Love' 'Wow' 'Sad' and 'Angry' and I think the general use of those 'likes' is well received.

Yep, wouldn't it be great if, instead of just clicking "like", there was a way to type a comment in the thread saying how much you liked a photo and why. And if the space for written comments was big enough, we could use it to talk in more detail about cameras and lenses and photography stuff in general.

And for anyone who has doubts about the image quality obtainable from one of these 50 year old Takumars, here is a 1024 x 766 unresized crop from near the center of the picture:
A great lens and good photos. It looks like you need a Tougherbook, though.

Still goofing about for the Spring regional photo expo theme ... "seen from the ground" or "scene of the ground". Here the SMC Tak Fish-eye 17/4 on K-1 placed on the ground and an approximate aim ... really did not use the tilt screen. All taken in Poitiers. (x-post)

Wow! What a great idea, Dave. I wonder if Pentax Forums would allow that?

A few more with that Super-Tak 200/4 = the hood made a world of difference, I'm in awe.

Looking good, Ed! Yeah, hoods are pretty much required on those Taks - I always use one.
