Well worth looking for! I have two, an early Super Tak and the later S-M-C Tak 28/3.5 - love them both!

I also love my little ST35/3.5, esp. on the K10D:

A close up from May 21: Paulownia tementosa, flower and nut, found the day before in a small public park in town; field width is 10cm approx. My first acceptable focus stack with 10 images. SMC-Takumar 35/3.5 (focus set on lens to infinity) at f8 with 10mm extension ring (Asahi No. 1), which works works well on behalf of subject width and resolution. K1 in pixel shift and AWB mode, mounted on Novoflex Macro slider.
