I like them a lot, but changing lenses is too slow, so I ordered an adapter for each one. What can I use to "glue" them to the adapter?

possibly some Loc-Tite - someone else can recommend what specific type....

I always worked from opposite direction - I would set one of my Pentax bodies up as an M42-only body...

Thanks, I'll look into it.

In my case I plan to use them exclusively on a Sony body.

Loctite 222 (purple) is their light-duty thread locker. You only need a very tiny bit.

You could also use a tiny dab of wax, instead. That won't "lock" the lens to the adapter, but it will add enough resistance to keep it from coming loose accidentally. I'm in manufacturing, and we use a lot of wax-patch fasteners as an alternative to Loctite in places where vibration might otherwise cause screws to come loose.

The adapters for Sony are pretty easy to work with, though. They're big and easy to grab and twist instead of the lens when removing them from the camera.

Indeed, the adapters are big but after a run/walk to the park the lens in turn is always loose. I almost dropped them twice in the beginning, that's why I want to find a way to avoid the lens to unscrew while in the bag.
Thanks, I think I'll get Loctite purple and hope that it won't be a problem to remove the lens from the adapter in the future to use on a different mount if needed.
