I have the K-85 soft lens, and I never could figure what to shoot with it either. Just saw this thread - pulled out the lens to start playing around with it again. Thanks for the motivation!

Not sure about this lens. Indoors, with manual flash, I think. Maybe I was too close to subject? Not sure what I’m trying to accomplish here. Still learning.

Snow scene shot through screened window...I think I like the effect that the screen added.
The coffee mug, Ball jar and silk flowers shot with an added Canon 500D close up lens.
I have a MF K85soft, so no aperture detail.

Nice screened window effect. I have used this approach as well, but with a much less noticeable effect. It has something to do with focus, I think.

84mm F2.2 soft (original non-AF lens). I used only modest softening, as psychologically I look for sharpness.
