Tokina Tokina SZ-X 70-210 f4-5.6

Hi
Can across this manual focus zoom. and took it (along with a yellow Lab) on walk. A little putsy to use - but I thought the bokeh was pretty nice...

Pentax/Cosina FA 100 f3.5 Macro

It's so unloved it shows up as Pentax or Cosina in the Exif... so the camera doesn't even give it respect...
But it takes good pictures...
Here's a bit of ivy... on the K1

35mm f/2.8 Auto Chinon

Not only was the lens lonely, but so was the camera it was attached to, a Yashica TL-E. So I had them both out for a stroll in New York this past weekend with some new P3200TMZ:

Old Albinar 3.9 80-200 auto zoom. Can't recall the last time it saw the light of day.

Lonely lens Mamiha-Sekor 80mm f 1.9 N

My lonely lens is the fastest medium format lens ever manufactured at f 1.9, equal to something like f 0.9 in 135 mm format. However, alas, registry distance prevents it from being adapted to Pentax medium format cameras, so I have not used it very much at all until the Pentax K-1 was introduced. I found a Mamiya - K mount adapter, and here are some views from my garden to provide a few results.

KIT: Pentax K-1 with Mamiya 80mm f 1.9 N.

Like this thread, my Auto-takumars have been quite badly neglected so I took a couple on holiday with me:

The Kalimar 28-200mm f/3.5-5.3 MC Auto Zoom

This lens used to live on my ME-Super, traveled worldwide and I loved it. When I bought my first DSLR, a K-7 (used here), it was my long focal length lens until I replaced it with the HD and SMC DA lenses I use today. It sat neglected literally in the bottom of a box until today; I dusted it off for the first rose blooms of the season. And I noticed an interesting circular bokeh around the highlights wide open, reminiscent of a mirror lens.

Cheers, Allan

Many thanks everyone for your kind comments! Every so often I dig into a deeply-buried camera bag and rediscover lenses/cameras I almost forgot I had and find they're still quite capable... and it's fun to discover how those old lenses perform on modern DSLRs.

Cheers, Allan
