i missed focus slightly and had some motion blur (handheld), but love the bokeh from this lens:

Western Jay

Cheetah
Like them both, but wow! the sharpness on the cheetah is outstanding!

Cool shot. What housing do you use?
Thanks Matt!
I just used a DicaPac SLR. Simple housing but effective.

My TC is the Tamron F 1.4x
officially, they are not compatible as manual focus does not work (grinds motor). optically, it is a good combination. i am still looking for a compatible TC for the 70-200.

The Tamron 70-200 is supposed to be better optically than either of the Canikon versions. According to tests I've seen on SLR Gear it's a no contest but the one I tried had severe CA. I tried it on a Canon which was set up in store and I don't know if it was the lens or the camera doing 'lens corrections' for the wrong lens because the red channel was definitely shifted.

Great shots Everyone.

I just pulled the trigger on a 28-75. I am nervous, as I've never purchased a Tamron before. It looks people have gotten great results with them, though.

My only criticism of that lens is the size and weight. And even then it's not that bad. It just seems big if you are used to the Limited primes.

That is the first positive thing I've heard about not owning Limiteds, which I do not. I'm sure it will seem large, since none of my lenses are IF, but, I am okay with that. I bought it mostly for when I am shooting people, or documentary-style video, which is not a huge percentage of my shooting.
