That place looks stunning.
It really is. It is literally flooded with camera toting tourists year round who come from all over the world to see it. It's the reason the city of Calgary can support places like The Camera Store and those stores can do things like TCSTV YouTube channel and now DPReview TV is shot here. There is a large and vibrant photography community here thanks places like Banff.

Great shot, Ray... This looks like an reef barrier creature...

I've been looking at the Tamron 52B or 52BB but haven't found a bargain... I wonder how this more modern model compares to the 52B(BB).

By the way - I dig your new avatar.

Many thanks, Ed. Yes, it does look a little strange and that is what attracted me. I have no idea how it compares to other Tamron macros. It is the only AF macro that I have and it is a 272EP. I assume that the P is for Pentax. I just checked and it is still available in Pentax mount.

Thanks for the comment re my avatar. It was overdue for an update. The previous one was a few years old.

With Tamron 70-200 Coopers Hawk

I just picked up this lens and I think it is terrific. Yes, it's big, but apparently, not as big as the pentax 70-200

This One is a bit of a hack, Tamron 200-500 didn't come in a Pk mount so I regularly use it on use it on a Nikon Body, but recently was playing with Nikon to Pk adapters and one I made into a small extension tube by removing the Glass. Shot taken with a K3 mk 1 X tammy 200-500 nk mount hacked.
