It would be a great service for us that print large, to have the actual resolution images in quality format. I know that this is difficult sometimes, but is the only way to judge lens (and not everyone’s photographic skills )
Thanks everyone

The 17-50mm again, with a non-cropped shot @ ISO 160--f 4--1/8th--23.8mm. Converted to Jpg, from Raw, with no PP.

I really, really, really like the results you have gotten with that lens. Good work!

I now have 3 tamron lenses... 2 I'm very happy with, the other, I am in the process of evaluating so no firm opinions yet. The two I like, I'll post pics, the 18-200 I'll post some pics later.

first, the 28-75:
Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/3.2
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/9
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 200

and then there is the 70-300... pictures take a bit more work to deal with ca, but not too much to eliminate the positives. Every time I use it, I always end up thinking, "I can't believe this thing only cost $130!"

Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture: f/11
Focal Length: 300 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture: f/5
Focal Length: 90 mm
ISO Speed: 200

Camera: Pentax K10D
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/10
Focal Length: 240 mm
ISO Speed: 400

tamron 18-250 Di II ld (IF) 3.5-6.3

own 2 Tammy's and about to buy a third ( 17-70 ) or 28-75/2.8....
recent shots taken during b-day celebration days during in which vision and steadiness were somewhat reduced.
any reduction in quality is solely the responsibility og the photographer, and not the lens.

flower f/6.3 - 1/90th - iso 100
osprey f/ 8 ( i think ) 1/30th - iso 100
both manual/tripod ( bird shot with remote )

Halfway through the thread I had to take a detour and go price the 70-300.

Holy crap! They practically give the things away!

Thanks Nesster. No I don't think it's the f, but here's a link to my blog with some photos of it. I haven't found much info on this lens but I really enjoy using it and it produces some nice shots.
