Both dogs are beautiful! Thanks guys. I love dogs, beyond words, and find Huskies to one of the more beautiful, majestic of all breeds. They share a certain affinity with wolves, which is much more obvious than we see in other breeds.
Nice one!!! Great Colors and the separation between foreground and background is just awesome...

(BTW - if that's the 60-300 adaptall-2 lens, I passed on that last fall and afterwards found out it's one of the best out there... ahh)

Here's a shot of my scraggly cat taken with a Tamron Adaptall-2 70-210mm f3.8-4 (46a). I think it's a very underrated lens. I adjusted color and contrast a bit from the original, but no sharpening was done.

Thank you, very much--I love the lens & yes, it is the one you ae thinking of. No need to fret though--I saw one last week, at our forum, for $25, with PK adapter to boot. Granted, cosmetically it won't make you sing, but the owner says it is nice mechanically--which is all that matters. If you are really interested, I'll see if I can track it down for you.

kyteflyer Both hand held (back when I had steady hands) and both shot at 300mm.
They are great, especially whne you consider thisis supposed to be the lens' weak spot.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like it. That was probably the only one of 10 shots I kept. Cat's just can't seem to hold still long enough to get a decent shot.

Leon, you just reminded me why I'll be buying the 70-200 and NOT a Pentax DA* lens. Those images are incredible! My tax return should cover that lens along with an X-100.
