Love the first shot, but am not sure why. I have been shooting mountain scenery for a long time, and never thought electrical infrastructure could ever work in a scene with mountains, but this shot proves me wrong on that idea. Great framing!

These freak me out.

They remind me of ex-girlfriends.

K20D with the Tamron 28-75F/2.8

I was out testing the new firmware 1.4 upgrade for the K20D today and sure enough. The metering is much improved. No longer the need to dial in .3 to .7EV.

This was a tough decision. Shoot the car or the pretty lady crossing the street. I chose the car. I love old school cars like this.

Flowers where a blooming today. I am not much of a flower guy, but the streets where empty today. Sundays are like that in my sleepy neighborhood.

A couple playing chess..My favorite game

A couple of college kids

I know I am bored when I shoot this lousy fountain

I did run into president hussein obama though.

I hate flowers and fountains too, and I'm learning to hate ducks.

90 di macro

Edit:

Yes, heavy saturation in PS, but I like the way it works for this shot. Also, right after I took it, the mother and babies all took a crap at the exact same moment--so I was pretty depressed missing THAT shot.

Same lens, and my beginning foray into handheld macro.

By the way--after I shot this, I stepped on it.

I have in-laws who live over in east Hollywood Fl with a duck that looks just like that living on their block.
