Gorgeous fractal! - I love that slight desaturation!

I like the color tones here - kind of 'light and airy' just like the subject

I was privileged to shoot my first wedding as a back-up type shooter this past weekend, for which the Tamron 70-200 2.8 was invaluable. I could not have done the shoot without it. I had a monopod for it, but I think next time I'll shoot entirely hand-held and just deal with the wrist fatigue. The monopod kept me in one place a bit more than I would have liked - and since we were in a field I could have walked a bit! Still, got some awesome shots with it

Now that Tamron is releasing the 70-300 with a USD I wonder how long it will take them to release a 28-75 f/2.8 USD and a 70-200 f/2.8 USD. I'm sure they will add optical image stabilization when they update them, and hopefully they will make some improvements (not that they are bad) to their optical performance as well.

Today i fall for the 70-200.
Test picture at the local shop:

f2.8 200mm 1/8 sec handeld

And my dinner:

f2.8 200mm 1/90 sec Flash

It's huge! not to mention a little heavy.
Love the curved aperture blade, a little less the MF/AF push pull mechanism.

I resurrected my Tamron AF 70-300mm (normally kept for film nowadays) and took this image at a nearby park (with river). Some food enticed this little fella to come pretty close.

OK, I stand corrected, it is a female fella

And now for something completely different:

Tamron SP 90mm Macro - this image taken just with this lens alone, 100% crop, then resized smaller.
