Nope... just converted the RAW fast and uploaded it (was too tired to treat it anyway). i just posted it because i like the shadows on the lower petal (got lots of flower shots and really enjoyed seeing how near i could get).
That is impressive then. Can't wait to get these results with my 28-75, which I have hardly shot with. In the meantime, here is one from the 17-50 f 2.8, @ 25.62mm--tri-pod.

Burning Man!

Here are some shots from Burning Man 2010 with the 70-300. My first year @ BM with a DSLR. I have soooo many pictures, but I have already used up my monthly limit on flickr.

From what you describe, better results are possible for this lens & TC?
Definitely. If I had a better teleconverter and/or a more stable tripod, there is more detail to be had.

Bravo! I thought I was looking at the cinders of a few palms in the first photo before I realized what it actually was!

granddaughter at wedding

Shot this Saturday night as part of a wedding shoot. This is my 3 year old granddaughter before the ceremony began. She was the flower girl. Kinda forgot to spread any flowers, but oh well, when you're cute you get away with stuff.

Tamron 17-50

Took this while we stopped to take a break.

Walking to downtown Santa Cruz on the train tracks... Too bad we didn't make it to the harbor in time for this epic sunset.

My sister wearing a Mustache.... and her reaction to operating a Segway for the first time. eww playa teeth... :P
