Thanks Mike. I'll have to look at that. Will it work with macro?

Hey wait! I do have some pics taken with my K5 - 70-200 Tamron combo. These will remind you when you were newbies!

Taken around my neighborhood one stormy day.

Somewhere in Seymour, Texas.

At my son's recent track meet....even though he's not in the picture. Too bad most of the ones I took of him are kinda blurry. Now if I can just learn how to photoshop that girl out of the picture.

I kinda like this "flying runner"

Again at my neighbor's front yard. It was so windy that day I just took the shot even if it wasn't in focus.

Great shots! I love how this lens does a portrait at the long end. Especially how eyes turn out.

K5 & 90mm F2.8 Macro

This lens is super sharp and I should use it more often.

K-5 & 28-75 2.8 & Sigma DG 530 Super flash bounced off the ceiling

This was a fundraiser cat art show raising money for the Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League. My son beat us all for best of show with a great photo of one of our cats (with no help from me). I'm a very proud dad!

Thanks - yes, it does do a great job for portraits. I find that f/2.8 is just large enough to get the type of depth of field I like in a portrait. Your shot looks like near sunset - I love the light. What gave the fill light? It looks reflected.

Thanks, it's actually morning and I'm bouncing my Sigma EF-530 Super off the porch ceiling for fill.

17-50 2.8:

Not really the best focal length to shoot baseball, but I needed something to test my new (used) lens with (and my new copy of LR 4 too).

I recently bid and won an Adaptall-2 90mm f/2.8 on a whim. I'm pretty sure it's optically the same as the first AF version of this lens. I thought I'd probably turn around and sell it. Now I'm not so sure. The sharpness is just incredible. I have some sharp lenses, but there's something intense about the sharpness of this one, starting at f/2.8. Not really a special photo, but here anyway:
