My 17-50 doesn't get out much now that I have a trio of DA limiteds but I decided to give it a whirl to check the IQ is up to a good standard on my K3 in preparation for summer holidays.

After using primes for so long the truth is that the convenience of a zoom feels pretty good. The IQ isn't DA limited standard, but it's very close.

Great landscape lens; that's how I tend to use it. Enjoyed the shot!

Just LOVE the composition, and the rest of the look as well!

Not much chance to use my A001 70-200 f2.8 but the quality I get out of it is always satisfying

Think this is the first time I use it seriously with my K-5IIs and I found out that it back focus quite a bit especially in the long end, this problem doesn't show up in test shots but was really obvious in real life use so I dialled in +2 AF fine adjustment in the field, and it seems to work better, will have to try using a focus chart to work out precisely what needs done.

17-50 With K30 and Metz 52 HSS

I don't regret I left DA40 at home but one has to be more careful in crowds

Looks like part of the TN mountains ridge. Beautiful landscape, great captures of the looks.

Thanks for the kind words Mr. Mo. It is probably the same mountain ridge I drive over on I-24 when I go to Nashville

Nice shots! I'd travel to Madrid just to visit that coffee shop.

I've just got myself a Tamron 90mm Macro and I've been out having a play with it. Here is one taken earlier today.

Been awhile since anyone posted here so here are a few from my Tamron SP AF 90mm 2.8 + Tamaron 1.4 teleconverter on K3

This lens sure is sharp, even at F2.8 without the teleconverter.
