You are the MAN to get this photo. It is so realistic, down to the board hanging off the window of the barn. All the details of the photo are harmonious and work, everything balanced and in exactly the right position -- and then BOOM that perfect roping scene front and center in the photo, just like a little mini-explosion to catch the eye--and those deadpan "we do this every day" expressions of the two riders. I don't smoke, but one of these guys must be the Marlborough man. This photo deserves awards! If you don't make copies for sale, I am tempted to steal a copy and hang it way on the inside of my home so no one will know I violated your copyright! Sorry to go on and on about one photo, but this one is just too much . . . reminds me of growing up on a small family farm and ranch in central Texas. If I ever make a photo this good, I will stop shooting, give away all my gear, and just point to it if anyone asks me about my photography!
I agree. Outstanding photograph, and the calf with its tongue hanging out is a little "icing on the cake". ;-)

Ha ha, thanks Ivan! I can make it available after the client launches their campaign which should be happening any time now. This is near where the iconic Marlborough Man shots were taken many years ago, interestingly enough.
I'll put up more as I can too.
I'm in Dulles now waiting for a flight and flipping through my Kilimanjaro shots which were mostly shot with the DA 18-135. It was a great adventure!

Fantastic! I love Mt Killy, climbed halfway up it one time. Love staying at Ma Gibbs Farm and going on Ng Crater game tour in beat up old Land Rovers. Probably won't go back, but look forward to your photos!

I spent a day in the crater in a beat up Toyota Land Cruiser. Amazing concentration of life there! Lots of photos to sort now.

Two tamron originals from the 1960's:

I had the 450mm before, my review is here. This example doesn't seem to be as good. The 400mm f7.5 is new to me, but my impression is it rivals the f6.9 400mm for IQ ie one of the best. Sample moon shots. f11, samsung NX20, full size 1:1 crops, 400mm top, 450mm below:

I posted this in the K-1 thread but I'm not sure if you all visit that board so I'm including it here too.

I just got tagged in this Instagram post and thought I'd share. This image (on the right) was one I shot with Cinch Jeans last summer as a full page ad.
