I'll have more shots to post soon.

Had a family event today ... and got quite a number of nice shots of my nieces and newphew with the 90 again.

More from the 28-75

Here is another from the 28-75. This photo is also a testament to the K20D sensor considering I forgot the ISO was at 1250. The photo is slightly cropped and sharpened from the original.

You know Ash, I took my 28-75 Tammy out for a spin last week and wondered why I had left it on the shelf for nearly a year. While these are nothing great nor special, They are straight Jpegs with no pp.

And decently sharp wide open too Javier.
Your results are just excellent - love the details and colour.
Tamron have produced very fine lenses in each class for the price you pay.
I haven't tried the 17-50 yet, but something tells me it would be a fine contender to the DA* 16-50.

I have not tried the 17-50 yet either, but the lens that SEEMS to have a permanent home on my K-7 is the Tamron 17-35F/2.8-4.0 and I do have the DA*16-50.

Another thing that should be noted is that the service at Tamron is also excellent and they really do take care of any problems they encounter. It should be noted, That I have only sent one lens back and it came back perfect.

Pity that kind of service cannot happen outside of the Americas... (or maybe it's just in Australia)

17-50

I've only just got a 17-50/2.8 but so far the results are good.

In preparation for an upcoming dance recital I purchased the 17-50/2.8. I needed something that was:

1. Wide
2. Auto-focus
3. Constant aperture
4. Not horribly expensive

Last night I had a chance to try it out a bit.

I took a week or so off from posting after I let myself get too exasperated over the antics of one particular poster.
