Great shots Piotr and ricmalaz, using my 2 "go to" zooms, the 17-50 and 28-75.

Birding with a 17-50mm--isn't breaking the rules fun? Cool!

You sure know how to use DOF to highlight your subject. Nice. The purple flowers too--you have that piece of glass down pat.

How true it is. Just another excellent shot from you Mike, but then I've almost come to expect nothing less from you. BTW, I was struck by the DOF in this shot, so I tried to look into the Exif to see focal length and aperture--no exif there though. What was this one shot at? Thanks.

Here is the Tammy 90mm Macro, with flash. It is one of those free flashes I acquired in an Ebay deal, where it was more of an after thought than anything else. I have virtually no contol over it, as this pic shows, but it helps get the job done. f 4.5, ISO 320, 1/125th

You guys continue to amaze me with your shots. Keep up the good work!

I've been walking past this for a couple of days, but this is the first time the light was hitting this directly while ti was mostly in shadow.

Tamron 17-50/2.8- 1/20 sec @ 50mm, f/8.0 ISO 800

That is an awesome shot!

Here is one with the Tamron 17-50mm 2.8, @ f11, 1/60th, ISO 100, 17mm--no filters. It is of Arethusa falls, the highest (though surely not the most beautiful) waterfall in the state of New Hampshire.
