Looked through this group saw a size comparison with the DA*200 but nothing with the Tamron that a lot will replace with the Pentax DFA*70-200.
I have always loved my Tamron from the K-5 all the way to the K-1 but this beast is in a different league fast accurate and sharp as hell.

I was wondering if the extra weight of the DFA is really noticeable compared to the tamron when shooting hand held ?

I’ve never had the Tamron, but I definitely need a monopod with this lens. So heavy it is unpleasant to use hand-held.

I deliberately try to take photographs without using supports and by bracing my body

with this lens and the DA*300 and D FA 150-450

In case I need to do so

Of course, if I want the best results, I will use supports

Yes it is but still not too bad I can't shoot for as long as I did with the Tamron without getting fatigued

Full Moon and Trees (DFA 70-200)

Shot hand held at f2.8, helped by the amazing dynamic range of the K-1 and SR.
