I need to use mine more, it’s awesome every time. I love the colours and the close up rendering. So err... here’s a landscape shot from it!

I took my kids to the Virginia Safari Park near Natural Bridge. Shot with the K-1 and DFA 70-200.

Vincent,

One of the pleasure of this thread (or the Post your K1 pics thread) is that we can see other photographer's kids growing, and Victoria has been growing fast !
Your portrait of her are always sweet and nice. Nice colors too.

My daughter is 10, and she is now reluctant to be my model ! I used to give her no choice but to be ready for an sunday afternoon photo shoot but now I've got to negociate

I have to admit I haven't used the lens for a couple of months - most unusually - but here's one from the last time I did, back in April, with the K-1 in North Devon - it doesn't show off much of the lens's quality, but I like the image

Captured with the K-1 and a fast shutter speed to manage the glare off the water.

Well, I did go and buy this lens today. It is not small, but it is not that big as I thought it would be. I did jus put it on my K-1 and started shooting. No problems. Great image quality and Bokeh too. Will post some photos when possible. My china trip will last more than week still..

Good for you! It does seem large when you first encounter it but I have found it comfortable on the K-1 even for long, rock scrambling hikes. And you cannot beat the IQ.

Thanks, yes. I was looking for other options, but this seemed to be actually most reasonable. I had a look of FA*80-200/2.8. That is one big hunk. And my DFA beats it hands down. Sharp from wide open. Great colours. Was thinking of buying some other things too, instead(FA 85+135+ DA 200...) well also there was that tamron 70-200, but I really like AW sealings. Looking forward for tomorrow..

If you are good with the weight you will for sure not regret the purchase..even if you are not good with the weight.
