This gives me an idea. I now want to put a shutter release button on the 70-200 so I can hold the lens with one hand and focus and shoot.
Repaap, have you felt any issue with your body supporting the lens weight?
Kind of a scary thought.

Look close for the gems, formed far beneath the surface of the earth.

It sure is expensive lens, but worth every penny. Now, I need to up my game to be able to match this lens. It will take a while untill I will feel that my gear is holding me back..

With the K1, APS-C mode, high burst rate.

I was cooking the food on the BBQ, my daughter yelled "Papa, un oiseau !", I had my camera and 70-200mm sitting on a chair really clsoe, grabbed it and shot this one !
I didnt know what kind of bird it was until I checked, it's a Stork, and there was many in this region of France, I've got some more shots to come.

Nice catch! Now we know that the excellent DFA *70-200 is also a fine BIF lens.

yes! it was was only option, being my longer lens, and I loved it. I've got a couple BIF shots that are really nice, Ill post them later.
The AF-C was absolutly to the task on a few series I did, even with stuff in between subject and myself I was really impressed as I am not a BIF shooter.

Little bump!
Here is one bird picture referring to one above, shot in FF, but cropped aprx. 1,5...amazing, I did bring up shdows, did not touch PF or anything like that.

couple other shots

more later Great lens for travelling, even if it is big and heavy. But IQ is just jaw dropping, worth lugging it around.

Couple more from today

I'v been thinking that It would be great to put this lens in 'real use' instead of these snapshots. Then again, it is nice to just enjoy that little extra that this lens delivers. Loving the colours and contrast and all. Size is getting more and more tolerable, but it is not stealthy thing. Getting used of people staring at me too
