So... I got a DFA 70-200 in excellent condition and less than 1000 shots taken for 1400$. Not sure if it was a good deal or not but couldn't help myself.

I have never ever in my life used a focal length longer than 77mm, curious to see how this will turn out.
Sounds great!

Welcome to the club!

Here is couple from me.

So far I like this lens a lot. Took it for a walk in the park and didn't have any problems holding in for like one hour or so. For street photography it gives me more reach than the FA 77 I was using so I can capture pictures without getting too close... although I must admit sometimes I feel like a paparazzi.

Boy and his bike.

I also think that it’s weight has been overstated, for what it is. Also walking around you will gather more looks at you, because of it’s size. But it is well worth it

I was using the lens as a sort of macro on the K-3 - minimum focus is quite good for a fastish telephoto - broad-bodied chaser coming in to land from a hunting perch (spray and pray with fixed focal point)
