Weight is fine, I use good strap attached to lens. And hold it while walking, so that it wont swing so much.

Well, now that I got my internet working, here is couple snaps from yesterday. Will continue today to try it out

Very glad for you mate, this lens is incredible in many different settings, from portrait with a nice bokeh to landscape or sports.
Its a lens It took me a while to master, if I may say I master it now

Have fun !

Nice!

Well here is couple from today, it just hit me today that there is hardly any flaws with this lens. Now if your picture is not good, it is on you. That could be a flaw.

tried quickly some starbursts

and then just couple more just for fun

I went out last couple days with this lens. Again, it is just so amazing. Only thing still what bothers is that at the publick it is not so small with hood on... other thing is that I’m quite nervous when using it. Mainly because I want to keep it super nice, it is quite expensive lens. Image quality vise, it is so good, amazing. Made me actually little angry to my DA*55, because it is not anymore on the same level. But it feels tiny now..there couple of thoughts. Will post couple photos later.

Some shots!

(this one because of hand held, and low shutterspeed, no problem at all)

I must say..well for these shots my FA 77 would have been more handy, or DA*55, but still. even if it is big lens, it is for sure really flexible. here because of my lazyness and timetables just couple from my hotel room.

The results almost always justify the size and weight. Nice shots.

I'm finding the more I use this lens, the lighter it feels. I've had it for a few days now and am on the fence about keeping it. (Will I take it with me compared to my older 70-200)
Moving from a cosmicar f4 70-200, it is huge, but so clear, sealed, with fast focus (I find not using the "green" autofocus matrix and choosing a focus point is much faster on my K-1)

It just gets better as you use it. I sold my first copy but always felt bad when I came across the photos taken with it so I have a new one now.

what was amazing is that they were all spot on. no hunting, that lady in rain shot was made actually with one hand, because other was holding umbrella. and those guys collecting dvd's, same. if it was my DA 55-300 WR, no photo, or photo, but focused somewhere..

This gives me an idea. I now want to put a shutter release button on the 70-200 so I can hold the lens with one hand and focus and shoot.
Repaap, have you felt any issue with your body supporting the lens weight?

Hi, no issues from that what I did. But would not e doing that with too much of strenght and speed and for longer time. All ways use both hands. Or lean to other if possible. It is big lens..
