All processed using ON1 Photo RAW 2021, as my Lightroom license has lapsed.

This lens is just great. A gem in every way. For my taste, far superior to all similar ones for other frames.

I would like to have it but poverty does not let me. HAHAHA

The DFA* 70-200 is SUCH a brilliant lens. Unfortunately, this thread seems to be petering out. Although you may not be getting out and about these days as much as usual, I'm sure many of you must have some great shots that you can post here. Let's see what you've got!

Last (rainy) Saturday in Melbourne on the old post office steps (K1, 200 mm, f/3.2, 1/250 s, ISO 1000):

I think it is time of year. For many of us December through March are winter months. The issue isn't so much cold as it is darker days and as the weather and light levels improve, I think more of us will post.

(The other thing is that I have the DFA *85 and somehow when you get a new lens the older ones languish a bit)...

Yeah, that's what happens to my DFA70-200... I should use it more often, but I am more on longer telephoto or wide lenses (Wildlife and Landscapes) nowadays... I use more the FF converted DA*60-250 than the DFA*70-200 since it has more range in its FL and is not as heavy than the DFA when I bring alternate kit in my wildlife outings.

I should use it more often I agree!

I only just got my copy in February and been putting it through its paces. I think the cat has had enough of the harassment.

Yes, I have been shooting and I do still love this lens...ofcourse because of it's size I won't take it with me unless I really think that I need it.

K1 + D FA* 70-200 mm f/2.8, 140 mm FL @ f/8

Overcast weather makes inherent contrast of the lens shine. Great sharpness too. Only drawback : size and weight.

140 mm
