A wall of water is inbound

K-1 and the 15-30 a short drive from my place. It's a tourist look out but it's the best place to see where a storm is likely to be heading as it approaches Brisbane. This one slid north so wasn't worth chasing especially when it's this close.

Christmas Eve in Brisbane

A lovely warm day here today, and a reasonable sunset to go with it.

The K-1 and 15-30.

Thanks - I really appreciate it. 15-30 has really grown on me, so sharp and great colours. If it could just take an ND filter

You can get filters for the 15-30 John, they're just not cheap:

FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc Filter System Review

NiSi 150mm Filter Holder For Tamron 15-30mm - NiSi Filters Australia

Haida 150-Series Square Filter Holder for Tamron 15-30 2.8 DI VC USD Lens

The LEE SW150 Mark II Filter System especially designed for a range of popular ultra-wideangle lenses.

Thanks Tas, I appreciate that, but I dunno, these filter systems always seem a bit cumbersome to me. And I guess I do wonder about the potential for even more reflections and glare. The ones with the holders that grip the front of the lens must be OK here though?

Of course we have in camera (or post-processing) averaging etc nowadays, so filters are not the be-all and end-all. But I do think drop in rear filters would have been nice on the 15-30. I do have my fingers crossed for some primes that will accept filters in the future

Folks, has anyone with the Pentax 15-30 purchased a filter holder? I've been trying to decide between what seems the "gold standard" Lee SW150II Holder or the NISI holder which seems quite well regarded.
