I got this little gem after an impulse eBay purchase recently....and I'm very happy so far.
I use it as a walk around lens, 50mm equivalent on my K-3 ii, with the benefit of going as close as I want to any subject

It's my first Limited series lens, though I own a range of vintage lenses, so I'm used to good build quality
The only drawback of the 35 Ltd. I've discovered so far is that distant out of focus objects look not as pleasing as near ones, I guess that's excusable for what is technically a macro lens.

You might want to check if the lens needs any focus fine-tuning on your camera. My DA 35mm is as sharp at infinity as it is at close distances. If you read the reviews you'll find several people have had the same problem as you in the past but I strongly suspect that it's due to a slight mis-focus at infinity.

Try focusing using live-view to check this as that bypasses the "conventional" AF system entirely and focuses based on the image projected onto the sensor itself.

I've decided to make more effort to use the DA 35mm macro ltd on my K-3 iii. In the winter cold it's easier to alternate between telephoto and my GR III, rather than having to change lenses.
