Love the alligator snapping turtle shot pepperberry. At least I THINK it's an alligator snapping turtle. I had a 50/50 chance on sunset/sunrise for an Indian Paintbrush shot of yours and I guessed wrong. Rolling the dice again.

thank you

not sure if it's an alligator snapper or not - it's more likely just a common snapping turtle...

EDIT

after doing a bit more research, especially on the turtles shell, it was probably an alligator snapping turtle and more rare than I expected...

What a relief. I'm 1 & 1. I saw a few of them in Table Rock Lake. In your neck of the woods I believe. In the early 90's I lived near Blue Eye MO for 3 years.

Some shots from a hiking trip to Ardèche, France. Stunning landscapes and tiny flowers – the 35mm ltd delivers.

L'ermitage Saint-Eugène, Païolive, Ardèche

Les gorges du Chassezac, Ardèche

Another mouthful ?

Grémil pourpre bleu, Purple Gromwell (Lithospermum purpurocaeruleum)

Orchis brûlé, Burnt Orchid (Neotinea ustulata)

How are you getting on with the DA 35mm limited? Do you see/feel the magic?
