She's actually put on quite a good turn when we've been out and now she's secured a permanent place in the Pelican 1510.

I was beginning to wonder where you'd gone, kinda quiet on the Dragon front I thought.

No I'm kinda already covered on the longer end (see sig), I'm in my Capa phase of photography...

As in Robert Capa, co-founder of Magnum Photos, accredited as saying, "If your photographs aren't good enough, you're not close enough."

Thanks.
Its on a 5D.
Removed the lever guard but did not cut the lever, but the lever ended up slightly bent (easily bent back; more like shifted to the side) and the lens can only shoot wide open.
Certainly not what I'd recommend to do in the long term.
I may try to find a spoilt lens to salvage the aperture lever for cutting for this A50/1.4

To me, its certainly very nice all things considered (build; size; sharpness; bokeh)

Here are a few from the A 50mm f/1.7, all taken on a recent trip to London.

Thanks.

There is always a lot of negativity here about leaving Pentax for FF (.. and "everyone left here is a 'sucker'" ) mentality.
But for me, the whole experience is positive.
Positive for Pentax.
Because these lenses do work on digital FF.
And above that, these lenses are smaller than the competition, many are cheaper, excellently built, and very good optically.
So I can imagine that they will be even better when a nicely made Pentax FF camera comes (eventually)
