Good application of A/200/4. Turns out my 200 is an M, not A. The M200/4 is my go-to lens for zoo visits and all sorts of large assemblies where I am stuck up in the bleachers and the action is down on the floor--school concerts, that sort of thing. For zoos, the 200 generally gives me a great shot of the entire animal. My M400 goes to the zoo with me too, but it is more for taking pictures of eyes, ears, trunks (elephants only). The 400 is too long for the only zoo lens, but the 200 and 400 together make a good kit. Both are good enough that if I can catch some kind of image, I can clean it up in post and get a pretty good photo. For assemblies, the maximum 4.0 aperture has not proved to be a problem at all on the K-1, and with ASA only turned up to, say, 400.
