Shocking to see you using something other than an M lens!!

Some of the A lenses are really nice, though I've tried only a few. The 28/2.8 has nice, modern rendering and is sharp from f/4 though it has truly horrible bokeh. The A 50/2.8 macro produces great results and is very pleasant to use with nice smooth focusing - I suspect you might like it.
Shocking, indeed! But I only have 8 lenses left in my M primes collection to shoot next year, so I need something else to shoot around September or October, if I want to keep shooting single in challenge. Bought a set from black friday this year, so I should be good till next years sale

At the moment it seems I'm mostly leaning towards M42, as the A lenses I really would like to have are too expensive for my use. If I did something else than post here on PF I might be able to justify the cost of say A*85 for example. But this zoom was in the price group I like

Got my first A, 35-70 f3,5-4,5 zoom, from black friday. Took my first spin with it this morning. Rendering looks nice, but not as sharp and vignettes more than the primes I'm used to. Bought it for 7,50€ to use for a month in Single In Challenge. I'm sure it will provide me its worth

Thank you... "Sweetheart" is quite an impressive "Lady" when cajoled in the right manner.

Thank you.

Just one of our many dull days in the Highlands which gives this very even soft light... which makes for these muted colours.

Curious Cat

Taken with a Takumar-A 28-80mm F3.5-4.5 which gets poor reviews here but I think it's not too shabby

You're right; not shabby at all. In fact, I think you did very well with it!
Best.
