Found another one missed from last posting for the "Cafe Society", this one taken with SMC Pentax-A* 85mm F1.4

If there is a party in Taiwan there are going to be dancers. That's pretty much a guarantee.

Scrolled through the whole thread, and was surprised to see no photos from A 28mm F2, is it not popular or just rare?. Just acquired this lens recently and already have a history with it. Anyway, these two were quick photos before I took the lens apart to lube the focus, which was very stiff - took me like a month to put the lens back together, very tricky bastard indeed.

Very good sharpness wide open, may be even better than my K 28mm f3.5. But I don't think I'd make a good portrait lens, too much curvature and the bokeh is a bit wicked.

Thank you! My biggest wish at the moment is to own the holy trinity. Not the FA Limited series, but the:

- A50/1.2 (check)
- A* 85/1.4
- A* 135/1.8

I've used the latter two and they are really stellar.
This trio is certainly on my want list. I imagine they will be even more desirerable if/when we see a full frame unit from Pentax.

I'm a recent A-Club inductee, with my A 400/5.6. Two from yesterday, the first with just the top cropped to get a 3x4 ratio, and the second about a 50% crop (yes, I was rather close to this unusually tame GBH). Both at f/8, ISO 100.

Thanks Dave! A cold sunny morning and the GBH was just hanging out in a sheltered sunny spot, where it was easy to find a good lighting angle.

Great heron shots,

That A 400/5.6 looks like a keeper.

Haven't participated in this club for a while. Took the A 100/2.8 macro to the Butterfly Conservatory today. Here's a few from that session.

As it is a butterfly conservatory I suppose I should add a few of those:
