Unfortunately they were closed when I was there so I couldn't check out their selection

What an awesome lens. Too bad it's so far outside my budget.

Very nice!
Thanks. Here are the rest of the photos I took that weekend with the A50/1.7. Cosplay is very popular here and I think the costumes are the best in Taiwan based on the flickr galleries I've looked at.

@f2.8 - I think this is from Alice in Wonderland but I'm not sure.

overexposed at f2

@ f2.4 - One of my favorite costumes

@ f5.6

@ f4.5

@f2.4 - I think this is the most popular cosplay character (Miku Hatsune).

Here's the A 50 f/1.4. I like the IQ of this lens at least as much as the M version it replaced. This is f/1.6. I took some at f/1.4, but I actually found the oof smoother in the f/1.6 shots.

Balloon over Signal Peak from my porch on a recent morning. Kind of hazy but I still like it.

Thanks. It's the back porch actually and I had to clone out a bunch of powerlines which makes it seem a lot more rural than it really is.

A 24-50/4

Hey, check this out! This was my first session with this lens. I'm not crazy about the subject/composition but I think the lens did a great job. Funny thing, though: the EXIF says FL was 20mm (say wha?)

I wanted to buy that lens at KEH but by the time I made up my mind, it was gone!!! Such a usable range IMO...

If it says 20mm, that must be what you input since we need to set SR length, right?
