Thanks to an LBA acquisition this weekend of A50/1.4, A28/2.8 and A70-210/4 (in mint for $50, plus a flash, a film body, straps, original manuals, and a bag), my dog Charlie would like you to welcome me to the club, even though these lenses may not see a ton of action by me...

As a reward, Charlie would like to offer you a quintessential one-eye-in-focus shot:

These initial test shots at f1.4 tell me this A50 is for sure sharper at f1.4 than my FA50, so it's definitely a keeper... Still have to try on the others...

Thanks, yeah had to stay after it for a couple weeks to coordinate it (par for the craigslist course), but it was worth the hunt! Would have never guessed it'd be in such pristine condition... Makes me not want to use them, considering how much wear and tear I usually put my stuff through.

Yeah, I think that lens in particular is a real score... Took the A70-210 for a first short spin this morning, though it was cloudy so all the shots are high ISO... First impression, I really like the handling of this lens! Feels good.... It's heavy though for how slow it is and was bumping my side a lot on end of my sling strap (with K-5), so not the best for walks... At least it seems plenty sharp at F4 and didn't notice any PF, though didn't expect to on a cloud morning...

And one of my daughter in the back yard mid-day (through double-pane glass)

That A70-210 is looking very sharp. I like Lowepro Toploader 75 AW if take only one bigger lens for a walk, around 35$ in ebay or aliexpress.
