Soggy Foggy Lights

A 35-105mm on K1. Trying to learn how to shoot in the dark while getting reacquainted with this old and trusty lens. I forgot to change my white balance and ended up with that blue shot, which I didn’t mind, so I left it blue.

Great, interesting shots. I am beginning to learn that darkness, mist, and other unusual conditions offer great photographic opportunities.

Exactly! Fog, drizzle, street lights...tada! (But dang...it was no fun being out in the 30 degree temps for any length of time).

I took my junk bike and the A50/1.2 on a ride through Scottsdale today. It was a beautiful morning for a ride.

Thanks! I see from your avatar you're a man of culture. It's a 1988 Schwinn Traveler, nothing special or expensive even when new, but it was one of the last bikes made in the U.S. by Schwinn before they went bankrupt. It was left out in the sun for who knows how many years until the building it was left outside was torn down. One of the demolitions guys on that job saved it and put it on Craigslist. I bought it from him for peanuts and took the time to get it back in working order. It's the right size for me, and I like the 80's color scheme.

Same lens, from when I first bought it:

I've put 1,500 miles on it since then. I ride it to work every day now.
