Originally posted by rbelyell well one can surely see the 'leica look' in these photos. does the mount conversion allow for auto metering, or is it a 'green button' affair?
Yes it does allow for metering including Multizone one in Av and (perhaps) in M mode. I actually was astonished, I thought Multizone wouldn't have been supported as well as autofocus tracking... Anyway, most of the time, I frame before focusing and don't have to focuse first and then frame, it's quicker. Nevertheless, metering compensation is -1IL for this lens. It changes with the lenses and sometimes depends on aperture. But I'm used to it, since I have been having digital cameras (EOS 5D, 5D MKII and 6D until K-1). I don't know if NR and (Highlight, shadow) dynamic adjustment work on RAW files, but I disconnected all of them. I do not need "green button" except if I want "Auto Iso". I programmed it from 100 to 800 in low Iso/low speed priority.

Yes, you are right, I was afraid of that on a big sensor (more than 20MP) but I am pleasantly surprised. Bokeh is beautiful and microcontrast as well.
Originally posted by a5m Looking forward to the 90/2 results as I've been wanting to get both of these lenses.
You will have to wait a little bit I'm afraid...
