I've had the blackstone version for 3 months now, and I really like it. Of course, it's built like a tank, weather sealed, fast, super sharp, and has less chromatic aberration than any other lens I know, but somehow it's the little touches that most impress me:
- The marker for lining up the hood is valid when reversed.
- The filter window is captive so you'll never lose it.
- There's a very subtle click stop at infinity and, like the distance scale, it's bang on.
I shifted the sensor all the way up for this shot, so I had to remove the hood. Even with Pixel Shift, and beyond the nominal image circle, the corners hold up really well; I've uploaded this one at full resolution.

I'm sure the Austrians and Swiss are laughing at me, but this sort of tunnel portal is exceedingly rare in Denmark. Exotic, even.
