Nope. It's blocked at both ends. It is about 2 miles of the "old" San Francisquito Canyon hwy. Dam disaster in 1928. Road damage in the 90's, never been the same afterward.

Oh yeah, the St. Francis dam. I read about that a while back. It was a curved concrete gravity dam.

From the Wiki about it:

At two and a half minutes before midnight on March 12, 1928 the dam failed catastrophically and the resulting flood killed up to 600 people. The collapse of the St. Francis Dam is considered to be one of the worst American civil engineering failures of the 20th century and remains the second-greatest loss of life in California's history, after the 1906 San Fransisco Earthquake and fire. The disaster marked the end of Mulholland's career.

Very tragic.

It is about 2 miles long, but next to a riverbed and washed out in portions. It also has concrete blocks at each end preventing vehicular traffic.
