Dave, your pics are all works of art. Beautiful.

A couple more from my recent SFO trip.

Napa Torture Chamber. Too bad you really can't clearly see the Iron Maiden at the far end of this room.

I was at the Governor Hindmarsh hotel in Adealide to shooting local hip-hop act Funkoars last night, and while I was sitting down before the gig synchronising the times on my three cameras, this girl leaned over the security barrier and started to massage my shoulders! without moving, I lifted the K-01 up over my head, pointed it backwards and snapped.
The result is silly, but still fun, even in the virtually non-existent light. You can just see the top of my crew-cut head at the bottom of the frame.

Still learning how to use the Rokinon (Samyang) 8/3.5. From the Pike Street Public Market in Seattle.

Still working on nailing close focus. Tripod probably would have been helpful too.

Gotta Try It!

All with the K10D.

A few not-so-fishy shots with the KMZ MC Zenitar 16/2.8 Fisheye from the Othello Tunnels near Hope, BC, Canada.

Light at the End

Nicely Flowing

Nicely Churned

All taken with the K10D. I am finding that the Zenitar is a very versatile lens for general landscape and architecture with its circular projection being a definite asset.

Some years ago I went with the Pentax Club of Great Britain to USA -- on 'Ruby Beach' one of the Lady members gave me a 'Fish-Eye' attachment she said she never uses - well, I have used it -- with a 28mm focal length lens it gives a circular image --

These are great - thanks for sharing.

To me these types of circular photos are "real fisheye" photos, if there's such a thing. Anything around 15mm or more, especially on a crop sensor, is hardly fisheye at all! My Takumar 24mm is known as an "extreme wide angle" but that's nonsense on crop.

Anyway, this is the closest I can get to a circular fisheye with a DA10-17mm...
