I think I'd call this one "Say Cheesey" as it is pretty low on the creativity scale...(Yeah, that's me in the orange...)

And here's one from the weekend Pumpkin Fair that I posted in the "post your photo's" forum, but what the heck, let's keep this thread alive...

Today was the first time I opened this thread because I just took delivery of the 10-17mm. I had no reason to open the thread before but I regret that because of some awesome images you people have posted.

It took a longtime to view all 182 posts but hey, I did it.

There are 2 images that for me, really stand-out. No offence meant for the other posters, like I said the images are awesome.

The train tunnel - specifically the B/W conversion and the skater.

Thanks everyone for posting your version, now I need to go out and do some of my own.

Maybe all these wonderful images should be put in one of our galleries!!!
Well done everyone.

Well done.
Funny to see Orion on that angle. on my side of the world, he's standing upside down on his head.

I've not had this much fun with a lense in ages.

All images in the album hand-held and no post processing with the exception of the B/W to which I added film grain.

A couple of early morning fisheyes. One out the front of the house, and one from the treehouse out back...

Not my fisheye, borrowed one from JC Sullivan so that I could give it a try. Long term I have to decide whether a 10-24 or a 10-17 will fit my needs better, but that fish effect is fun to play with.

Too bad you weren't in Windsor Pete, you could borrow mine.

Nice shots Ian - much more "crisper" than mine, course, could be the lighting outside.
