Church photos with the Pentax-DA 10-17mm f 3.5-4.5 fish-eye.

The 10-17 is always nice for enclosed spaces, for large buildings, and as Miguel says for semi-macro shots like these candles.

The French are so inventive with landscaping, here devising a way to make sure that tourists accumulate under their tower.

Pentax 03 Fisheye lens (3.2mm) on Pentax Q7. This is a Melbourne landmark, the old Shot Tower, enclosed under a dome in Melbourne Central shopping mall. (Cross posted from the Pentax Q - Show us your shots thread)

Few landscapes with Arsat 30mm f 3.5 fisheye

Here are a few fisheye photos. Interestingly, if you frame your image carefully, this big Arsat fisheye behaves almost like a wide rectalinear lens.

I've found the same with the Pentax 10-17. If you keep the horizon level and across the centre of the frame it's not obvious that it's a fisheye lens:

Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 at f/4.5

Sharpened, however, the image is quite detailed across the frame, and the lack of flare is impressive.

Been in a boat going through a mangrove swamp such as that. A natural spot for a fish-eye lens. Great capture.

Agreed. Also, in the case of land forms that are normally irregular in shape, bodies of water, for example, through careful framing you can create major distortions that still appear normal, meaning that in the photo the body of water or other land form, though distorted, appear as it COULD have appeared naturally.
